- Reimaged 120 laptops for faculty and staff use
- Prepared 100 Chromebooks and 85 laptops for student use
- Transitioned to remote learning and operations in less than 2 weeks
Summary
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Washtenaw Community College needed to equip its staff and students to work remotely. In less than two weeks, its IT department reimaged 120 laptops, moving domains, mapping shared drives, and loading VPN and other software, and conducted a webinar on online resources. They also purchased Chromebooks for college students and prepared laptops for Washtenaw Technical Middle College high school students.
